A company I worked for years ago gave generous cash bonuses for the first several years I worked there. Toward the end, they were giving $75 Red Lobster gift cards. Better than nothing, I guess. I spent them at Capital Grille.

I just got mine last Saturday and haven't found the time to set it up. I want to do a couple gift cards first to do some inconsequential dry runs.

I got mine and for what is a minor investment overall, I think it's a cool convenience (especially since I use a minimalist wallet).

I've had it fail to work a couple times, but it has also worked often. For now, I carry it concurrently with my cards as a sort of "trial period", but I can see it working well.

Whoops wrong one... waitress hits the button by accident... water damage... bent up and now useless stranding you I could go on and on. A careful city dweller? Yeah might work.

Started setting mine up yesterday and wasn't able to get the card reader to work. Tried several cards from CC to brand new gift cards and it wouldn't read any of them.

Hmmm. $117? You guys must have had a cheaper intro price. For c-note plus I'll just keep my wallet clean.

I thought it sounded like a cool concept. But hell if it isn't reliably working yet it's a waste to me I would want to carry it instead of my cards, not carry it with my other cards.

Now if this could also double for all the insurance cards I have, then I'd be in.
