Imageshack ugh!

Post by jimyritz » Thu Jul 18, 2013 6:02 am

Do any of you guys use Imageshack? I've had several pics that are too large; they were fine before but now are gigantic.

Any ideas as to how to size them down?

Thanks
Mike

I have trouble with Imageshack not resizing my photos when uploading and then I have to re-upload them, but I've never had them resize larger after I've verified they uploaded the correct size.

On the main upload page there is a dropdown menu to select the size when uploading.

That's really strange. I haven't seen an option to resize existing photos in an album to correct something like that.

It's almost as if the image has been corrupted.

The only edits you can do on Imageshack after pics are uploaded is to rotate them, so you gotta do that re-size at the time you load them up (using the drop-down menu).

I use it. Images seem to get corrupted on Imageshack rather frequently. It is far less than optimal as an image hoster.
