some changes to the forum

Post by yamahaki » Thu Mar 31, 2011 8:39 pm

i guess the rules are not plain enough. i already had to ban several members. this new forum is going to be a totally new concept but it is no place for people who do not want to discuss and learn about watches. when the old y3 threads are migrated here i will post a complete set of rules. until then, i will make some eceptions but disrespecting admins will get you a vacation.

Finally! Sorry Derek, but we've needed some better management around here for a looong time. I'm always telling these guys how much I miss Sean's presence on the forum. But, this is more than I could have hoped for. Looking forward to all the changes.

I've just 'reported' this post to the admins. Seriously Bill, you're a good guy, but let's get with the program. This could really be a better place with a little order imposed on the chaos.

Yeah, I was going to post up pics of tonight's installment of the Nashville GTG, but my thread is gone. Oh well though. I see the point; it wasn't really about watches anyway. Just some minor growing pains.

This just feels right to me.

Man, and I could use really go for seeing some more boring snaps of white people listening to crappy white music played by other white people in generic white-people settings.

It's true what my gay-as-a-goose, SF-living godfather once told me: You have New York City, and then you have 'murrica.

Adam

PS - Maybe having Sean back isn't such a bad thing?

Hmmm,so far I'm not impressed one little bit Sean. This is a good place and it doesn't need rule changes.
We were always allowed to say what we think here......so at the risk of being removed from the Tribal Council or being banned, here's what I think.
This new regime stinks.

Sean,
I was hoping you'd return. I am getting ready to start my skydiving lessons and could use some pointers.
