New Timex WS4 ABC...
New Timex WS4 ABC...
So it's not a heavy-hitter like a new Rolex, JLC or LW like everyone else seems to be getting at the moment but it's still pretty cool
My snow camo WS4 arrived yesterday and so far I'm loving it! Way more than what I thought I would.... it's very comfortable for it's size.... so light I can hardly notice I'm wearing it, and without a doubt the most legible, easy to read display I've ever had.
One thing in particular that I like being in Australia (where we write the date the correct way ) is the option to display the date as day, date, month..... with most US made watches it has to be displayed the US way (month, day) etc
I'm going mountain biking over the weekend so can't wait to see how it goes. So far I think it's a very practical, well thought out design... not sure if I could get away with wearing it down the pub & not look like a tool but for the gym, MTB, hiking, camping etc I think it's perfect. And if it performs the way it's supposed to, it's pretty hard to beat for $150.
Here's a couple of quick pics I took this morning

Cool Donna-how big?

Re: New Timex WS4 ABC...
It's pretty big mate
Approx. 53mm across (including buttons) x 41 long (that's actual black metal display housing) and the strap narrows to 31mm at the buckle and about 12mm in height.
But because of that the height of the numbers in the time display is a whopping 10mm
Like I said, very light, the rubber strap is extremely comfortable and makes the whole thing hug the wrist so it doesn't move around.... I'm thinking it "might" get a bit sweaty in hot conditions on the wrist though

THanks-been looking at them online but I can't find any measurements or perspective. Cool piece.

Cheers mate, I'll take a wrist shot for you tomorrow in the daylight..... I'm hoping I don't look like Leela from Futurama wearing this one
I also got a yellow one because I wasn't sure if I'd like the grey camo or not, but I prefer it to the yellow having tried them both on (and the make up of the rubber strap seems slightly different..... the solid colour is more rubbery and feels less flexible) and this is my poor version of a Brazilian Frogman that I can't justify spending the $$ on.

Ripper mate i like that a lot. I think maybe i should have got something like that, huge numbers. I'm having trouble seeing the time quickly on my G's.
Like you guys,we write the date "day/month/year" so thats an added bonus for sure.

I thinks it's a very cool outdoor watch. A nice break from the Casio digital domination.
And nothing wrong with looking like Leila.

Great watch - I've been looking at these for a while as well, but not yet pulled the trigger. I didn't know you could get them in camo - I'll have to do some more digging around.
