G-Shock Feva!!

Post by smalls » Mon Mar 07, 2011 11:24 am

A month ago I had one G and as of today I'm at 4 . As I've said before these things are just a little too easy to buy. Never really warmed up to the negative display on the 6900 and I thought the watch was actually smaller than it is leaving the strap to overhang my 6.75" wrist. Love the solar/atomic aspect of it so I decided to go a little more retro with this gwm5600. Since I was born in '83 it's kind of neat to have a watch that essentially was introduced then with the 5000 I believe it was. The design aspects of it are very similiar and it is easily the most comfortable G I have worn. Will probably throw the 6900 up for sale in the near future and I think I'm finally set with my G's.

5600 is an icon, can never go wrong with one of those. and you're right, better keep an eye on the rabbits, but there is so much variety in cases and feature sets at a reasonable price that they can get away from you in a hurry. have had many G's in the past and jonesing for a pathfinder these days....a whole new world!

Matt, awesome choice. I decided last night I was getting another G, and decided on the GWM5600 as well. Has the retro 80s look I want, and it's solar+atomic.

Call Casio USA, I've found that direct is the cheapest for Casio parts than buying from a dealer.
