I think the time of affordable Gs is near gone. Prices across the board have risen...I now look for used, older models if I want a G Shock.

582 USD is certainly too much Just wait a bit ... still pretty new release - be patient .. prices will be dropping eventually .. It's not a super rare & super limited edition ( like 200, 300 - 500 pics worldwide ) around 450 - 480 USD should be ok !

While that's cool, I never could make sense of the Casio limited edition pricing. I'll stick to my 5610.

I LOVE this watch. If we get one in stock, I'm going to try and get one.

Gave one of those, the cheaper non-LE model, to my son. Really nice on bracelet. And he lost it.
