Need G help

Post by koda240 » Wed Feb 24, 2016 8:11 pm

Gents,

I'm finally wanting to try a g shock but know very little about all of the countless models. I'd appreciate some input. Here's what I'd like in terms of features.

- all digital. Not a fan of analog on Gs
- must have a tide chart with the biggest display for it
- ideally not something that is 80mm large.
- atomic would be cool but not sure if it's really a good feature to have per se.

I'm sure there's other specs I could think of but would want to start with few filters and work my way down.

Many thanks for insights gents.

You'd probably want to check out @@@@@@ over G digital watch. It's almost the same but I think it's more slicker.

Check out the G-LIDE series. They all have tide charts.

GLX5600 is the basic square model at @$90.00..... GWX5600 is atomic and a few other features @ $180-200

or GW9110 for the newest Gulfie.... Gulfman is Titanium... sweet watch @ $200

G7900 series gets my vote.... hands down the most comfortable wearing G-Shock I've ever had.

Heaps of colour options.

Tide graph is front and centre.

Positive display is the best IMO.

Love my G I have the GW-M530A. Highly recommend it. Doesn't have a tide display but those are pretty much just advisory and not anything I'd want rely on for navigation etc...

I have one of those 7900s. Super comfortable because of those wings underneath.
