G-shock for a 3-year old?

Post by matt.wu » Tue Apr 08, 2014 1:31 pm

You guys got recommendations for a G that'll "fit" the wrist of a 3-year old? It doesn't have to look size appropriate, it just has to not fall off.

My son has been wearing his Mickey Mouse watch non-stop and loves my orange riseman, so I thought I'd hook him up for his bday, but have no idea about the sizing of the smaller G's.

Looking for recommendations. Thanks dudes.

The 5600s are the smallest G-Shocks, but perhaps a Baby-G is in order? I don't know too much about them, but they have plenty of "gender neutral" ones out there (i.e. not translucent purple).

I'm with Adam the 5600 would be the best way to go.

Seems like any of your normal watches should fit him :smack:

If he sits to pee they are.

Try a cut down NATO and heat seal new holes.

How about leaving the poor baby alone.

Smart boy to tell the time at 3 years old.

I have a four year old girl and my 007 fits her wrist appropriately with a NATO Strap Co standard style NATO on the snuggest factory hole. She has tiny wrists. I very much doubt they are much bigger if at all than your son's wrist. Might not be a bad option if you can find the right watch to pair with one.

honestly if it was me I would look at the classic freestyle watches, they make a size that is kind of a mid size that would be perfect imo. so check out the slim shark

My 6 year old has a Gulfman and Mudman that both fit him fine. He's had them for a few years.

My 3 year old wears my 5600 military ''cause he's tacticool
"30ish years of martial arts and I've actually had the honor of training lots of LEO, spec ops and even SEAL team 6 on base, fitness training, not martial arts, but still the coolest thing I've done.

Full on egg head corporate job and I fly quite a bit so I'm really looking forward to adding to my collection of TSA friendly self defense tools. I have amcouple tactical pens, but I want to up the game and get into some custom stuff. Been watch obsessed for a while but this seems more fun.

Thanks for letting me play! "
