Should I?
Should I?
Gents,
I've never owned a G and think it might be a nice addition for sports and such. While looking around I've quickly found that the options are endless and I don't have the time to decipher it all. I'm about to pull the trigger on this one and would appreciate any input on if you've owned something similar and liked it or didn't like it.

Oh, and don't buy this one and then post it as a WRUW next week. Not cool.
Thanks all.

Re: Should I?
The Frogman is the only ISO rated diver in the G-Shock lineup. My favorite.
Re: Should I?
Froggies wear really large.
Re: Should I?
If you don't buy that one I will.... have been eyeing it off myself. I love the Frogman series

Re: Should I?
Brice had asked me if it was the newer Ti case. I'm not sure, but is that something I would want over SS I assume for a G?CesarG wrote:The Frogman is the only ISO rated diver in the G-Shock lineup. My favorite.
Re: Should I?
Most definitely! Love the Frogman. = G-Shock
Re: Should I?
The new ones should be Stainless Steel and are the largest of all the previous versions.koda240 wrote:Brice had asked me if it was the newer Ti case. Caseback says S.S. I think?
I like that color combo, btw.

Re: Should I?
I say do it - looks like you'll be able to flip it here if you don't like it
Personally, I'd go for something a bit smaller like a dw-6600 or the like. Way cheaper too &

Re: Should I?
Ok, yes that's a great G, but they do wear big. Love mine.
However, for a first timer, I might suggest a GW-6900. Not too big, fairly low profile, solar/atomic and all the normal timing capabilities you would expect. Perfect starter G IMHO, and you don't break the bank.
$87 on Amazon, can't beat that.

Re: Should I?
I wish I had time to see what one looks like at a store. It's pretty cheap so I might just buy it and flip it if it's too big. Thanks for the input.

Def on the big side. I have a 6.75" wrist and I'm most comfortable with the 5600 series.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

Re: Should I?
Wow. That's a lot bigger than I would've thought. Love the color of the one you're looking at, David.

Re: Should I?
The Frogs are big but they're super light so I don't think it matters... I had a Master Blue (which I think is a fraction smaller than this one) and I wore it on my 6.5" wrist no probs.
Re: Should I?
David sent you a pm. I will send you my Froggy classic if you want to try one for size before you buy one dude. It's been worn plenty but it's a classic Froggy and will give you an idea of size and wearability without having to buy one. That said that is a pretty cool watch and not a bad deal.

Re: Should I?
The one Nick is offering you is the smaller and a lighter version. The newer one's are bigger that it is. I really like the looks of the Froggies but it looked like a clown watch on my small ass wrist.
