Help with a G

Post by Crue4 » Mon Aug 19, 2013 7:13 pm

I think I want to try another G, I really want one with hands and digital, have aeen a few i like but no idea where or gow to find them, and i certain hope they are reasonable price. My question is what is an online source you guys use? Any favorite vendors that has good selections and decent prices?

Any suggestions on a model would help too.

No help on models but I go to the local Macy's to try them on. They have a huge selection.

I had one with hands but I hated it- because it didn't move like a true quartz. The minute hand only moved 5 times/min in a jerky motion. Just annoyed me.

Hey Britt,

I have the GA-1000-1BJF Sky Cockpit and love it.

It's a Japanese domestic model that I got from Katsu Higuchi, but you should be able to source them from Seiya or Chino as well.

Amazon is good too.

I have bought most of mine off eBay. So far all has gone well, no issues. Have one heading my way from Singapore right now. Most of the others have come from Japan eBay dealers.
cheers,

Keith

I go to Macy's to try them on and usually buy from Amazon. The 9300 Mudman is probably my new favorite G at the moment. It doesn't have hands but has quite a few cool features. That and the 9200 Riseman are my top pics.

Me too. The GW7900 is my fav. And the little shoulder doohickeys where the strap connects to the watch really helps keep it from flopping around on my wrist.

Try G-shock, by Casio GA150M-8A Watch Anti-Magnetic Mens - Black Dial. It has a unique design and looks very powerful!
