I blame Adam for this

Post by smalls » Fri Jun 08, 2012 7:05 pm

Because of Adam's little rainbow shot of G's I got the fever man! Have probably visited the g-shock site 20 times this past week trying to pick all of the ones I want, and there are several. I'm looking at his pic going, hey, I don't have that color or that color oooh that white one is nice. I did a quick trip to wally world and picked up a dw6900 but that didn't abate my thirst so I bought this rescue 7900 in red. A little on the large side for me but aren't they supposed to be? There's still plenty more on the list, but maybe they can wait....maybe. So thanks Adam and everyone else who posted up the cool shots in the G itch thread. It's definately been scratched :fro:

I will gladly accept whatever blame is cast my way in this regard, since a little color is always a good thing in any G-Shock collection.

Well done, Matt! :salute:

Regards,
Adam

The 7900 looks like a good size, not too big.

Blaming Adam is a good play though!!

I had no idea that G shocks had such a following.

Plus, the wrist adapters make it hug the wrist! I really like the 2 that I have.

I do like the wrist adapters. Hugs the wrist much better than the 6900

Not a big red watch guy but the Rescue and the MIBR Frogman are pretty sweet!

these are two classic G cases, love the rescue red 7900 and the 6900 is my favorite on the wrist, better size and proportions for my wrist. This is a nice duo and we all know it is just the beginning :)

You said it right Brice. There's several more that I want to pick up but I'm enjoying these two for now so I'll hold off for a little bit. So far they've both been a ton of fun to wear. The rescue is one of the few watches my wife actually commented on and she said she likes it.

I just posted this in another section, but I have a white Rescue Series on the way to check out.

I havent had a G-shock in many years, hoping I will be able to dig it.

Nice pickups!

There are a few more I have my eye on. A white rescue with a dye job is one of them.
