Some Cool DIY Projects for G-Shock's

Post by Fitz » Mon Apr 30, 2012 8:37 am

I came across these projects awhile ago and recently found them again and think I might give them a try on one of my beater g-shocks. The directions and pictures suggest that the projects are doable for anyone that is handy. I'll report back on how it goes. Check out the links.

I've seen pics in the waaay past of a dude converting one to negative display (basically just using polarized film). Pretty cool way to do it. For some reason, I keep thinking I saw one Chris Moy did (some folks here know that guy - I might be wrong on him doing it though). ;)

I didn't know that making the negative display went back that far. I've already removed the paint from a 6900 I had lying around, but I don't thinking I'm going to do the negative. Kind of a pain in the ass ordering all the parts to do it. So laziness wins out again.
