Casio's G-Shock Mudmaster GGB100

Post by AtomicTom » Tue Aug 27, 2019 10:34 am

Has everyone had a chance to see Casio's G-Shock Master of G
Mudmaster GGB100 already?

This new watch is shock, and mud resistant, and has a carbon core guard
carbon resin case, 200m WR, mineral, and spherical glass, Neobrite hands,
and markers, double LED display/light, digital compass, barometer, altimeter,
a thermometer, and even depth meter. On top of that, you have 12/24 hour
format, World Time with time in 38 time zones, full auto calendar until 2099,
step counting capability, Bluetooth mobile link, plus a ton more.

A few pics everybody...

Not bad, Tom - although I've never been a fan of carbon resin cases. A lot of brands have shifted to these type of cases and I actually think it makes the watches "too" light. Also, the dark digital displays on the previous 100's make the data virtually unreadable, imo..

They are tough as hell though!

Man they fit a ton of tech into these!

That’s a huge watch, but reasonably priced at three-fiddy.

Paul, it's such a terrific point you are maling about the material, and weight with
these honestly. I mean you want to feel the weight, durability, and toughness
on your wrist right?!

Bjorn, was thinking the same exact thing about all of the abilities, and technologies
within these. Probably would never use 1/4 of them. But it's fun knowing what
is under the hood.

Have to agree with you too Hoppy about the size. Can imagine these would look a
little funny on my wrist. Even my regular G-Shock is probably too big. But the designs
are just so cool !

I have the GG1000, which I think is about the same size. It’s a big fucker.

Its a great G shock. Also had one but sold it because it looked MASSIVE on my wrist. The compass function is super cool.

Wish these were a reasonable size as I love the look. But yeah, huge.
