Sinn Rubber question

Post by CGSshorty » Sat Mar 26, 2011 7:52 pm

Is the Sinn 22mm rubber branded with the Sinn logo on both halves or just one? I need two logo free halves and a buckle, what is the easiest way to get this?

Pretty sure its just 1 half thats branded. You may be able to trade 1 for another.

The halves are the same other than the logo?

I believe so. Not 100% but pretty sure. 1 of the many U-series owners will chime in-maybe even the Sinn Whoooer SCM.

Looks like that is the way to go, I just wanted to make sure the two halves are otherwise identical. Thanks for the help guys.

same on both sides, if you bought a strap ive got a like new section without Sinn on it i would trade for the Sinn side if that would help you out! its got 4 holes on the non sinn side and ive cut the sinn side down to 3 holes left! PM me and i can send you a couple pics! I could roll with Sinn on both sides if it will help out, blank side is the longer end of the strap! Wear it on the bracelet 90% of the time!

Awesome Trevor I might just take you up on that. Is the best place to buy the whole setup from the Sinn Mod on Wus or should I buy from Watchbuys(looks like they are currently sold out)?

Isn't Matt selling one?
Also, in the event that you do wear it with one side branded, it's really not noticeable to the public. I do understand the perfectionist nature, though!

Thanks Jay, I am buying Matt's. The perfectionist in me is bugged that it will say Sinn on the buckle, but I can live with that because it is not something that can be changed.

The Sinn side of Matts and my blank side are cut to the same size, so if you want to trade i have no problem since its on the bracelet most of the time! Let me know if i can help you out Chris, i will send it out asap and you can see if its what you're looking for and then just send back the one you dont want to use! Its just sitting in a Sinn strap box so not a big deal! Gotta help a DWC Brother out!

Yep, this worked out perfect. Now let's hope it works as well as I envision it on the Damasko.

I've had the Sinn rubber on the Damasko and it looks great.
It also looks good on the Capeland.

I hadn't even thought to try that. No problem getting the screw bars through the strap?

You'll have to use spring bars, sweat, scream, throw some furniture around.
Just do it when no one's home.
