As many of you know, IWC uses a custom technique to attach their straps so it is very difficult to find anyone who can provide a custom strap.
I sent a note to one of the few (ABP-Paris) inquiring about a custom waterproof calf leather strap. It took a week but they did respond...
1) No waterproof
2) I would have to send the rubber strap to them
so they could remove the strap attachments for the new strap
3) It would cost 445 Euros or $600+ USD.....
Needless to say, I will be staying w/the rubber strap which I have no issues with...

Re: IWC Strap Update
Good choice. That is crazy money for a strap.

Yeah, Mike, that rubber looks just fine, buddy. How does it compare to other rubber straps out there?
You give respect, you'll get respect - you just don't know your place.

Thick, comfortable and no lint...Is it the best? probably not, but it is a solid very good.
