Looks awesome, Trev. Hey that catalog in the background. Has a 615 number on it. Is Anonimo's US HQ in Tennessee?

They are freaking awesome. My Seal loves the 22mm model.

Here's a pic of my now-departed but still loved Kobold AD (heading Down-Under - enjoy, Jamie! ) on ISOfrane (which is on its way to The Wu in California).

Dumb question, but here it goes...... "Why?" I dont get whats so special about a simple rubber strap??? Seriously....Can someone tell me? Also they seem pricey for a rubber, no?

If you like rubber straps, you probably have tried many types of rubber straps available. When you try the ISOfrane you will notice that the quality is above most straps. Plus, it looks good! (except the huge buckle)

Eric, its made from real rubber, no silicone crap! So it doesnt stretch a bunch, go limp or collect dust like these cheap straps that some sale as Italian rubber. You can thank Hublot for all the high end brands using good rubber and the cost is right up there with a good leather and in some case steel bracelet! divers brands have always been attracted to rubber straps! Get the thought of invicta or swiss legend out of your head, if they werent using silicone it was friggin' plastic!

If it smell like vanilla its a good rubber strap, the ISOfrane has that smell but there are copies like ocean7 that are junk made from silicone! I've heard that MKII makes a nice copy but have never held one so dont really know what its made with, i just bought a Hirsh Extreme Rubber (Caoutchouc rubber, comes from india)that i like alot but its 100 bones too!

You get to a point that you really only want nice watches and cant just keep buying them (some here can and do) but its so easy to change the look of a watch with a rubber or leather strap, zulu or nato and i'm really diggin these canvas straps that i think are bonded to leather for comfort! Adam has a few and they are jusk kick ass and again totally change the look of the watch!

Trevor really hit the nail on head -- it's a great way of changing the look of your watch without resorting to actually, you know, buying a new watch (hell, even I'm on a short leash these days... ). And like the saying goes, you get what you pay for, so if you're passing on a new watch, you might as well go for the best strap you can. To this end, the Isofrane really is about as good as it gets for rubber straps, and their buckles are top notch as well (I'm a fan of the Retrosicuro model, myself).

Regards,
Adam

PS - And Trevor, the Micah French Canvas strap is the bomb-diggity. Get one.
