Spring bar tool "case"
Spring bar tool "case"
I did this years ago when I was regularly changing straps at work or when traveling. I got tired of reaching into my pack and getting stabbed. This is nice because i can use one of the unused pen slots in my laptop bag and never have to dig around for it.
Pretty self explanatory. Just a gutted Bic, a couple small pieces of foam jammed into each end (protects the tips and stops the rattling).

Mine was a freebie from somewhere, and I also have a Boschette tool (bits store in handle) but if I ever need another, Terry's are at the top of the listSeppia wrote:Great idea.

Re: Spring bar tool
Definitely this one. I have a couple of them and I keep one in my work bag with extra spring bars in case something breaks.Seppia wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 2:54 pmGreat idea.
