Strap Questions

I bought a strap that came 20x20. Problem is, I can’t find a buckle to fit as the cut out for the tang, as well as the holes, are too small for a regular 20mm tang buckle.
It seems only 18mm buckles are narrow enough.
Any suggestions?

Swap the pin from an 18mm buckle onto a 20mm buckle

What style buckle are you trying to use? Thumbnail?

Try a simple pin buckle. That is what that strap was cut for.
