New Isofrane Colors
New Isofrane Colors
I haven’t seen any photos or heard of anyone buying one, but there appear to be 3 new colors available from Isofrane. I’m tempted to buy one in Anthracite.

That's interesting: must be over a year ago they asked on instagram for suggestions for new colours and I proposed desert tan, which ended up being , along with red (I think) the most popular. They even had a post saying they were 'coming soon' and then nothing

That’s why I found this so odd. After they made such a big deal about new colors, I found these completely by accident.poppydog wrote:That's interesting: must be over a year ago they asked on instagram for suggestions for new colours and I proposed desert tan, which ended up being , along with red (I think) the most popular. The anthracite and light grey are now available on watchobsession, but can't see them on the isofrane website

I didn’t buy one. I’ve been trying to show some restraint around the holidays.

True Blue is very nice.

I’d bet that light grey one will show the dirt badly.CGSshorty wrote:True Blue is very nice.
I like the anthracite, but it’s not different enough to justify the cost.

I just can’t do 150$ for these.

Agree with Brice. Prices are gouging plus shipping. And keep going up. They never even made nato color in 24mm and now they’re adding other colors. Feel like they skip a bunch of market potential.
Love iso keepers on magnums. I’ll keep doing that.

I was talking to Terry about this last week. The only thing I’d change in the Magnum is the keepers.nweash wrote:Agree with Brice. Prices are gouging plus shipping. And keep going up. Isofrane buckles are much nicer, but that is reflected in the price.

I know you didn’t buy it; just some wishful thinking on my part.
Re: New Isofrane Colors
Just got the anthracite (right). Compared to Terry's black version on the left.
Re: New Isofrane Colors
The anthracite looks great. What are you putting it on?

Same on both counts. If I was buying a new ISOfrane right now I’d probably go with the anthracite.

Re: New Isofrane Colors
It appears that nearly all facets of the watch community have lost their minds in terms of pricing. These straps were a struggle at $50. I love my Isofranes, but I'd never buy a new one at such a ridiculous price.
Hodinkee missed their mark- they should've partnered up with Isofrane to make a $1000 strap for their alarm clock concept.
Re: New Isofrane Colors
While I know BC is manufacturing them, something is different between the material and the standard BC rubber. I do think it is much better, but it isn’t $120 better for sure. Mine cost $129 shipped new when I got it. That was bad enough. $150 is ridiculous enough on its own and I’m sure ISOfrane still charges for shipping on top of that.
