In The Meanwhile: U1-P Strap Options

Post by mattcantwin » Fri Feb 15, 2019 11:07 am

The watch is off the bracelet.

I'm waiting on replacement spring bars from Terry.

Figured I might as well sit the watch on some straps to look for a potential combo.

Hirsch Pure.

I have an Isofrane that will be considered.

Three Kobold canvas straps.

Of the Kobolds, I prefer the black.

I have some other "possibilities".

Last time I tried this, the watch stayed on the bracelet and nothing motivated me to make a swap.

Since it's currently off the bracelet, I'm more likely to give a strap or two a try.

Hirsch Pure, and the tan and brown canvas straps look great. When I had my U1 it was mostly on the bracelet or rubber strap. I did have a black zulu with a red line in running through the middle which looked nice on the U1.

You should give the bracelet a try.

I expected this.

However, I have to give you credit for such a great design.

Thanks for the input, Joe; the brown looks good in the picture and maybe tan for a summer option.

Thanks, Matt. In all seriousness, the shark and Isofrane both work well.

But I agree, it looks best on the bracelet.

I love mine so much more on Sinn rubber. That Hirsch Pure would get my vote.

Try a nice brown leather.

Probably won’t end up on one, just going to post some pictures to mess with your head.

I like the NATOs in general (the grey and black especially), but not a fan of the watch on leather or canvas.

Your unplanned blood donor session notwithstanding, I still think the watch looks the best on the bracelet

I agree about the bracelet, hasn’t been on anything else for 6 months.

Just looking for a change if I find one that seems worth a go.

isofrane looks best. It is heavy duty, strong , bold...so it matches same qualities of the watch.

If I go with the Isofrane, I'd get a PVD buckle from Terry.

For now, I'm going with a 3-ring PVD nato.

That looks really good. Nice and strong. Good balance between the black strap and the watch. What it
