Yep! Nice quality strap. Different than the original tropics but still a nice strap. I've got an extra unworn 20mm that I'm about to put up fs.

Here's an Uncle Seiko Tropic on my SKX173 (22mm). It's a little long for me, and I wish it had two keepers.

I've tried one on my black bay and it works beautifully!

Yep, perfect. Will throw mine back on my Doxa and wear it like that for the next few (cooler) months.

I wear it on my NAFT STO (too lazy to type) and I love it. Little stiff at first but comes around.

Late seeing this, but I love the US tropic. I've tried others and it's the best. It's permanently on my SBDX019.

I also bought generic black and blue tropic straps on WUS.

No issues with them.

Wanted to try one of these. Most remake vintage style rubber straps like the waffle strap I tried in the past were hard as rock and hurt my wrist. Saw this thread looked it up and the web site said they were made different than the old ones were they were softer. Instead of getting a uncles waffle strap that's correct for the Seiko 6105 I got the tropic one there all ways thinner so hopefully softer and comfortable on the wrist since thinner so more bendable. Got it about a week ago.

And it fits right and is softer than a lot of remake and original tropic straps and glad I gave it a try. I mite have to try a uncle waffle strap since the one I got from a ebay seller from Canada years ago sucks were the hole for the buckle to loose or to tight and hard as rock.

i have the waffle strap too, and it is also soft and pliable, much like the tropic, a little stiff out of the box, but takes shape quickly as worn, or if strapped around a pillow in a box for a while. very similar to the break in time of the tropic in my experience.

I picked up the Tropic and the Waffle, and I actually like the Waffle one better.

Didn’t like. Too stiff and not at the same level as the oldies. Looks good, but didn’t quite do it.

Agree. Looks decent but nothing like the original Swiss tropics.

They look very nice (had to use curved springbars to mount them on the Speedy):
