Anyone try a BandR 2 piece velcro? Now on the Caesar.

My original rubber dive strap gave up the ghost a few days ago.

I have been wanting to try the BandR 2 piece velcro for a while now so I figured this was a good opportunity.

Strap arrived today. Quick shipping provided via first class mail.

Like the OEM strap this is kind of notched as well. The underlying piece of nylon is slightly wider. The nylon is thinner than I was expecting. Much thinner than a typical NATO. It's also softer and more pliable.

I'm a little concerned about the longevity but time will tell.

I ordered the large and it just fits my 7.5 inch wrist. Plenty of room to go bigger.

Here are a few pics.

I wore one on my SAS years ago. It was very comfortable and looked great.
