 thick and stiff
^ That's what she said
Seriously though, I'd agree it's thick but I'd say this strap is anything but stiff, it's a very soft and pliable strap. Anyone else think it's stiff?
I've yet to try one of Terry's Toxics but I'll get around to getting one eventually.

England. Shipping was fairly quick for me. Perhaps the hurricane has screwed things up.

Speak of the devil...

Fits the top of my wrist just fine and is comfortable. It's a high quality strap but I won't buy another from Haveston unless they lengthen them by at least 1"

So here's my impression of the Toxic Shiznit vs. the Haveston.

For those that do not own the Haveston, it is pretty thick, but as you can see in my previous post photos my meaty wrist makes it disappear. If you have a bony wrist it might sit a tad high depending on the watch. The Dornbluth caseback is also as flat as a board so take that for what it's worth.

I must say, too, that the Haveston sits differently in that the keepers ride on the underside of your wrist next to the buckle as opposed to the side of your wrist, which I've grown accustomed to in appearance and prefer. So the only way to really label the Haveston is "british-style -or- Haveston-style" Nato for lack of better term.

There should be just enough length on the tag end of the Haveston to prefold it and work it under the the first keeper because it's NOT secured by stitch and free-floats... You simply fold over and walk it back over, but only if you have a <7" wrist. It's a bit tricky to fold back into the last keepers once it's passed through both keepers.

I bought two of each and am happy with my purchase because I like to stockpile cool straps for the unflippable custom Dornbluth, but the Toxic wins.

Picked up two used Haveston straps on WUS.

Put the blue on the Seiko.

I love the look of the Haveston but I had to neuter it as it made my watches sit too tall.

My other Haveston nits to pick are the buckle pin is fairly light. Toxic pins / buckles feel much more robust. The second nit is my Haveston is fraying pretty well at the sides. It's barely been a year and the strap is looking a bit ragged.

Looks great! I had thought about picking up one of those when I had the watch.

I've never seen a Nato with a floating keeper - does someone have a pic?

Like mine a lot. Works well with the chunky Scubapro case.

The Havenston is a short strap so you can tuck the tail, so you can use a floating keeper to move up and down to keep the tail in. But on a regular nato that is longer it ins't needed unless you have a wrist over 8.5 inches.

Thought one of my favorite beaters could use a strap update, so here it is on the M-1944C.

Later I realized with the sliding keeper you can tuck the strap end under the wrist, which I like because typical Natos feel a little lopsided to me with all the excess at the 12 position.

Looks good, especially with the tail buried under the wrist.
