Di Modell Chronissimo...Regular or short?

Post by snootydog » Thu Mar 30, 2017 3:11 am

Having just got my long awaited Sinn EZM3 i now want the Chronissimo strap for it. I've done a fair bit of research on this strap and for my 7.25in wrist size it would seem that the short version would be my best bet. Do any of you have experience of both the regular and short versions of this strap and what's your thoughts?

Andy,

Short is 75x115 and the Regular 85x120--wouldn't you go regular?

It's all quite confusing  I read one article where it stated that the strap that comes as standard from Sinn is exactly the same size as the short Chronissimo. I thought this link would be the most helpful but I'm still not sure.

There is a reputable eBay dealer that sells them for £41

The EZM case is rather short. There is no way you'd want the short strap on a 7.25" wrist.

I have a black Sinn leather and never wear it. The strap that came with my 103 testaf was on its last hole on my 7.5 wrist.

I have a 7.25 wrist and a regular DMC on my speedy pro and it fits on the 2nd hole.

Looks like I need to get the tape measure out when I get home tomorrow and work it out from that.
I'm really not keen on having a long tail through the keepers but also the other extreme wouldn't be good.

Surprisingly, it'll be the short version. The Sinn rubber strap that came with my watch is the same measurements as the regular Chronissimo and the tail of the strap comes a long way through the keepers, half way back to the lugs and that's not a look that I like. The tail of the short Chronissimo would clear the keepers by plenty and still stay more to the underside of my wrist.
