Staib mesh bracelet - top shelf!

Post by Danny_T » Mon Feb 27, 2017 5:47 pm

Just arrived today is this beautiful german made 20mm Staib mesh bracelet. Found it pre loved up here in Canada and I've always wanted to try one. Price was right and I was able to close the deal.

I have to say this is a freakin gorgeous bracelet. Tons of micro adjustments on both sides of the clasp and just oozes German quality.

Have to say Omega, Staib and Steinhart are the top 3 in my books as of now.

Enjoy the slideshow

I have the same version and it's amazing quality. Looks great.

@JP - they are thick, but easily form to the wrist.

I actually like it. I want some mesh for my omega, but I don't want to pay omega msrp. I'm just worried this one might be a little thicker than usual. I like the clasp design.

It is. Same as the Jürgens "monster mesh".

I've owned both and they were quality but for something a bit thinner with comparable quality I'd recommend StrapCode mesh

Isn't' the guy that sells them in the US is the same guy who told Eric to use two screwdrivers?

So some feedback after a full day of wearing.

Unfortunately the bracelet is a bit of a hair puller. So points off in the comfort department.

So new order is Omega, Steinhart then Staib.

Staib mesh bracelet - top shelf!

Post by HapaHapa » Tue Feb 28, 2017 5:45 pm

I've got a Staib and it's very heavy and stiff to call a mesh. Yes it conforms, but a jubilee or engineer have more flexibility and probably breathe better. I'd also bet it's heavier than a jubilee.

Interesting. I've had mine for 3 years and never noticed any hair pulling.
