I was bringing in firewood and banged wrist coming through the doorway.



Nightmare averted thanks to the strap.

This is why I use NATO's when surfing. There is still a chance to lose the watch, but it would take a hell of a whack to break two spring bars.

Wonder if you had the strap on too tight, with a nato you can create a lot of unnecessary force down to the wrist if you wear it tight

I'll fit Seiko fat bars wherever I can. Reduces the likelihood of failures.
