The hydra buckles were only available for a week during the 'Hydra flash sale' at the end of August/beginning of Sept where clemens offered a limited qty of complete hydra watches and also the roller buckles to be purchased separately. The hydra roller buckles were fairly priced because the buckles came with hardware to make it in both 22mm and 24mm (with exception of the DLC buckles which were only avail in 22mm $75). So basically 2 buckles for the price of one. Buckles were available in brushed SS $50, bronze $70, titanium $70, and high polished $55.

The other buckle in the pic above is the Maddog high tech CF buckle which is also available in SS, and bronze. Those weren't cheap. I'd have to dig up my PayPal invoice to find out it's been a while.

I know you could weave them together but how would you insulate and make it water tight?

Any ways the straps look great, I especially like the SS buckle.
