Terry you need to get a hold of this webbing
One day bud. I just can't get it with the angled hardware and keep it affordable. :crybaby:
So they said they'd work with you but you'll have to keep the NATO strap name?
They have ever thing engraved with Nato or Zulu. For me to be their US "guy" I had to purchase them with that branding. They wouldn't hook me up with them without their labels. :crybaby:
Do it.
The fact of the matter is no one will step up to IWI to fight the trademark. And I can't do alone and stay in business. He has a trademark, and Maratac has the Zulu trademark, and they will sue you over it also.

Just because Watch Gecko calls them Nato doesn't mean you have to. Call them ToxicGecko straps. If you get any crap then stop carrying them.

I am required to buy a huge amount of inventory for me to be their US vendor. So there is no dropping their product if I get sued. On top of that they want me to label them on my site exactly like they do. And each piece of hardware is etched with their naming convention. :crybaby:

So that is enough for me to say no. I was already going to be out a ton of cash just to get a substantially amount of Gecko stock. So I would have had to drop the ToxicNATO line to pull it off. Which isn't possible since I have a bunch of different version of TN's in production right now, and those are already pre-paid.

My wife mentioned to me that "the grass isn't always greener on the other side". So she has asked for me to slow down, since we are growing way to fast for such a new gig. For every vendor that sends me a shitty product I have to fight them to get my cash back, I have a "New" vendor I was trying to use for some one off RAF straps and they sent me 700 shitty straps that were unfinished. So this is another vendor I am fighting in paypal (the last one send me the wrong Toxic tools when we did our second deal together).

This is all going on while I am working fulltime/in college full time/helping my wife recover. So it would be stupid for me to have some companies chasing me over trademark issues (and Maratac will do that).

Sorry for the rant but I had to look at the reality of the situation I could get myself into. :salute:

I follow Yao's lead, with "drip" coffee  . So if I get to bed by 12-1am then I up by 6am. :crybaby:

As long as I don't have to call any vendors overseas that is.

Terry - are you running a LLC and have you talked to an attorney about how to isolate your business assets and liabilities from your family's personal wealth?

Hopefully mine will get here soon. Great deal as a prototype but $31.84 would be a tough sale for me.

That's a tough sale above $20.

The other omega style nato with standard hardware is over $20's normally. That is getting into tough territory since some many watch dudes are cheap as hell. :salute:

I haven't heard anything lately. He had a few more setbacks but he is still moving forward. Oh and someone had his business IG account closed. :stir:

I will ping him and see how things are going though. I can't wait to see how they turn out.

I think that Hungarian guy is using a very similar seatbelt webbing as these. He was having a hard time sealing the holes because they frayed very quickly due to that type of a weave

Thanks, T - no rush, I didn't know if you had a few others asking for it enough to make an order or not.

I have more in production, but I think my vendor might have a few on hand also. So no worries buddy.

Good deal. The one by Timefactors was 1.5-1.6mm so it was not that comfortable. It also had issues around the buckle holes since the material has so many strands of nylon. But it sure did look good. Thanks for the pics bro! :salute:
