Eulit perlon run narrow?

So, I thought I wasn't crazy that I could see a bit of the springbar with the Eulit perlon straps (which are very nice straps btw), and Holben's confirms the same.

The two-piece strap is proper width though, iirc.

I can't comment on this particular strap, but I have a couple of Person straps, and the weave design means that they can easily stretch width-ways. I'll wear my 20mm perlons on a 21mm lug width watch, and it's perfect. Manipulate it a bit, and it'll fit a 20mm again. I've even worn it on 22mm lugs and it was all good with a bit of 'pulling/teasing'.
