I don't have a Sumo, but thought if anybody here does, and hates that gap when on rubber, then here's your solution. Comes in Black, blue, and orange.

Looks nice. Those long lugs need a fitted strap.

Other than the odd metal keeper, it looks great. The Sumo looks terrible on an Isofrane or other similar strap.

It's going to make it wear large, like the Sinn rubber

Damn they had this strap made for one model of a Seiko?? Crazy considering they probably had to buy 500 of them to make it happen.

Since my original post I've bought both the Crafter Blue rubber, and the new SBDC033 Sumo. Terry also asked me my thoughts as well, so here they are. To be honest I've always liked the Sumo, but the long lugs creating that strap gap I hated. A Nato will cover that up but I like a rubber option during the summer. I came across the new fitted Crafter Blue rubbers, liked what I saw, and thought I'd give it a try. Didn't hurt that I got a great price on a recent Massdrop deal for the Blumo either. Personally I love this strap! Perfect fit, very comfortable, and flexible. No breaking in needed. Compliments this watch perfectly, and even completed it IMO. It is NOT a dust magnet. Haven't even bothered sizing the bracelet, and like the strap so much may never. It's a straight 20mm strap with no taper. The strap itself is thicker at the lugs, then thins at the end. The strap itself, being fitted, angles down at the lugs, so it doesn't make the watch wear large, and contours to the wrist nicely. Overall I'm really pleased with this strap and would highly recommend it for any Sumo owners out there. Here's some average pictures, but should give you an idea of what it looks like on my 7" wrist.

That looks great. Do they still make orange Sumos?

Don't think so, but the strap comes in Orange. Thinking of getting one for summer.

It looks fantastic.

I've read a review that said it was shorter than an Isofrane and might not work on a larger wrist. I've emailed the company to see if a longer version is in he future.

Sumo gap = bad

Below gaps = good

Nice gaps! I think these will be too short for anyone with wrists over 8", and 8" may work, but would put the keeper almost right at the buckle.

Looks very well made. Of course I can only dream at this point for someone besides Hirsch Pure to make the buckle side closer to the center of the wrist. On me that buckle woukd be on the side of the wrist like a Nato :)

Makes me want another Sumo. This is exactly the image I had for a fitted strap for one.

I'll have to say it's a great strap. Very soft, flexible, and comfortable. Makes me want to wear it all the time now.

If you to their site I think you can vote which watch you want one made for next. We should all pick the Seiko MM

Regarding the MM300 version of the strap, from their Facebook page:

...Yes. It is under development now...

Just read on WUS a Crafter Blue rep said they are coming out with the MM300 strap in the fall.

My Sumo strap arrived today. It is the perfect strap for the Sumo, with a few caveats.
It should be longer. My wrist is 7.25" and it is just long enough to look right. There are more holes available, but the fit wouldn't be right.
The buckle and keeper are a little cheap feeling. I replaced their keeper with one from a SRP and it looks much better.
Overall, it is a great strap and the price isn't too bad considering the quality of the fit at the lugs and high quality rubber.
