From the policies page of the website
"Complaints
If any item purchased form Time Factors is not as described and you have a complaint, please detail your complaint in an e-mail within 14 days of recipt. I will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 24 hours and endeavour to resolve the complaint within 7 days.
If your complaint is judged to be valid, I will meet the cost of shipping for return and refund your purchase price plus the original cost of shipping. In some instances I will, with your agreement, agree to meet or contribute towards, the cost of local repair."
So according to him you have to ship the strap and he owes you return shipping, cost of the strap and the original shipping cost.

Re: Timefactors NATO straps arrived
The Australian NATOs arrived today. At first blush, I'll say they are nearly as nice as the TF straps. The TF hardware is definitely nicer and more uniform in shape and finish. On the wrist, however, the difference is negligible. I'll take some photos later.

BTW the TF hardware isn't perfect either. They are square with the corners grinded down.
I've asked my brother to try and machine some for me. To see how long it would take and if it is worthwhile to make a run of them
Re: Timefactors NATO straps arrived
These are made the same way. Whomever does the squaring off for TF does a slightly better job than the Australians. It is more noticeable on the brushed hardware than the blasted, but since TF doesn't order brushed hardware at all, this is still a point for the Australian.Danny_T wrote:Look fwd to the picsCGSshorty wrote:The Australian NATOs arrived today. Grey TF on left, tan Australian on right:
TF punches holes nearly to the tip. These really aren't necessary and the Australian looks nicer when folded over.
Grey/brushed
Olive green, which is very light. Really nice.
Tan/blasted

Those look really nice. Hardware from the pictures looks to be identical.
Also just noticed they have Iso looking rubber for $29.95. Comes in black, blue, and orange. Anybody tried these yet?

The fabric is very nice. It's not the absolute best I've found, but it's just fine. The web site is natostrap.com. The guys name is Francis and his email is ckchan@iprimus.com.au.andrema wrote:Chris, they look good. How's the fabric?

Yep looks the same to me. Thx for the pics Chris. I better push my brother to try and make some now. I'll guarantee that his will blow these out the water. Only issue is that he had to buy a carbide bits to machine the SS which isn't cheap.
I'll report back if/when it happens. The only issue is the buckles which he can't make.

These appear to use spring bar buckles, so that's not really an issue.Danny_T wrote:Yep looks the same to me. Thx for the pics Chris. I better push my brother to try and make some now.
