Buckle Up

Post by Danny_T » Tue Sep 08, 2015 3:51 pm

Just ordered these new buckles from Maddog. Got an email alert from Ingomar couple days ago showing new stuff he's got available and these caught my eye and I ordered immediately. I got 4 of em coming - a 24mm full SS and 24mm full CF, and also 1 of each in 22mm

Mine are enroute now and pics are from his website.

and they arent huge either (pic taken from Maddog website)

They are basically these cut in half which IMO is the right way to go.

***UPDATE***09-26-15***

These buckles are fan-friggin-tastic!!! Smaller than a pre-v too which is bonus !! Another bonus is Ingomar included a torx bit tool so you can remove the screws to mount the buckles. Nice touch also.

I may get some more these are that sweet.

What do you guys think?

Smaller then a std pre-v !! These are both 24mm buckles.

Mounted to my n80 leather grey baseball glove leather strap...perfect IMO!

Very cool!

That strap looks great too! Where did you get it? Appears to be shark?

Maddog makes some great shark straps amongst other exotics. Some are a bit extravagant though

Thanks man. Strap is a grey baseball glove leather and it was made by Dustin at N80 Leather. He makes killer ball glove straps and also great canvas and NATOs.

Im losing it.....I though I updated this thread to show my buckles arriving and mounted it to m n80 baseball glove strap...LOL....now I realize you were referring to the black strap in the post.... :smack: ....so yeah that strap is a maddog shark, which I borrowed that pic from his website and don't own that strap. I'm gonna update my orig thread now as I rec'd the buckles a few days ago.
