So I've been trying to figure out a buckle improvement solution for the wonderful strap Terry sent me and I decided it was time to pull out the strap hole punch and go for gusto.
As much as I didn't want to mod the strap itself, I had no choice since I could not find an attractive buckle with a thin tang. So just punched the one hole to the size for the tang to fit through and also enlarged the buckle tang notch on the short side using the rotary punch tool.
And voila, Perfect.

I think it looks fine. Nobody can tell what you did when wearing it anyway and the buckle does look better.
