yep - par for the course on DWC.

I still think there is nothing to be done regarding the scent. I have an older orange ISO (maybe 4 years old) that still smells. My new BC 300 has the vanilla scent as well.

Everything I've read indicates the vanilla scent is added to the rubber compound during manufacturing process prior to moulding with the purpose being to hide the bitter scent of natural rubber. I've done some searching online and read complaints regarding the vanilla scent on other products. No one has an answer as far as I can find. I guess I prefer the vanilla scent to a tire scent if that was the alternative.

I never got around to trying it. I sold the watch with the strap.

Lol - just read this whole thread only to read this anticlimactic ending
Sorry  it wasn't intentional. I think Brice owns the whore scented strap now. Maybe he can give it a try.

It may be his cologne.
I typically don't wear cologne and based on my fleet of used watches I'm a minority. It's really noticeable, even with bracelet. Was kind of creepy at first but doesn't bother me now.

Only the very wasp'y whores smell like vanilla. The majority smell like licorice.

then she wasn't a good whore, because vanilla is what they use to cover up all the prior activities before you got to her.

After trying the "Morganfranes" from Obris Morgan I can stand any Iso smell. The OM rubber is a hellish mix of tires and old vanilla
