Strap Options for EZM3

Post by afc14284 » Fri Apr 25, 2014 8:14 am

Story goes like this..

It's been two weeks since I got my EZM3 and have been loving it ever since , now the only issue I have is that it came on a bracelet and although it is very comfortable and well finished, bracelets are my last option when it comes to wearing my watches on a daily basis, this godforsaken tropical weather is a no-no for bracelet use IMHO.

I have tried, every 20mm strap I have on the EZM3 and quite frankly, have not found a strap that feels right at home. I can say that the one I liked the most is the Blue Drew Canvas which I tried on it just for fun and will eventually make me buy a Black Canvas, but I wanted to see what options you guys could give me so that I can try them out, pics, BTW, is a MUST!

I'm interested in the OEM Leather, Di-Modell Chronissimo and also like the Rallye, does anyone have them? Are they good?

It's a very similar case design to the EZM1 and to be honest mine lived on NATO and I loved it.
Gnomon watches- the olive and OD green. Perfect match.

Isofrane is also a great match for it.

In the winter I was wearing it on Micah Vintager ammo.

A black or gray Drew canvas would rock (think of a gray one for my U1).

I liked the feel of the sailcloth on my U1:

Great pics guys... I did try it on the iso and did not fall in love with it, albeit it was the blue iso...

Love the look of it on those Natos but have never really used natos before, think it's about time I tried one.

Joe, love the look of that Sailcloth, where can you buy it?

Thanks buddy...

I managed to purchase a Di-Modell Rallye strap.. Supposedly It's waterproof.. I'll try that one out, then a Black Nato, and I'm pretty certain that a Black Drew Canvas will solve all my problems but I need some $ on the watch fund to do it..

What's the difference between this sailcloth and the one that will come out on summer?

Checkout Canvas Noir with the red stitching at http://gunnystraps.blogspot.com
My current weakness is gunny straps. My second order should arrive in a few days. I will post my EZM3 with that strap when it does

I wore NATOs almost exclusively when I lived in the Tropics. Comfortable, secure and easily washable. The EZM1 was made for a NATO.
only accurate watches are interesting

It seems everything is pointing to Natos.. I guess if you can't beat them, join them!!

My personal preference on NATOs is for a thin case, 13mm or less. Otherwise the watch sits too high on top of the strap. My Shogun is pushing the limits at 13.3mm. Your EZM 3 is right at 13mm. Even better are older Subs and SMPs at about 12mm high.

Looks like a 22mm.. is it? Do you have a picture of just the watch so that we can have a better view of the strap...

Looks cool BTW..

This watch belongs on an Isofrane.

Tried the Iso albeit, a blue one and TBH did not feel it:(

OTOH, I recently got a Di modell Rallye and it feels great and that has made me think that the OEM Chronissimo would work like a glove..

Anyone has that one?

I will put one on later and show you. I'm out for most of the day, but will get to it.
