The best laid plans...

Post by mattcantwin » Tue Mar 17, 2015 7:31 am

A number of months ago, I sold my last 24mm lugged watch and was left with about 10 24mm straps.

I decided to sell off all the straps and stick to 22mm and 20mm lugged watches.

The plan worked well...

until now. :shifty:

Just ordered this.

(I think this is Mark's picture)

As so many others have said, Todd is great to work with.

Matt -- you should have kept those straps.

Congrats Matt!
Wide choice! it's a great watch. The grey dial is really nice.

Unwise choice... Selling all those straps :)

So is the white dial...

I lost track of how many times I looked at your sales post for the white dial CD-1.

Todd was kind enough to sell me a white dial, too, so I can have both versions.

I like the machined lines in the gray dial. It almost looks like the actual og version is the dial is gray and then it was machined down to the thickness desired. But the black dial has a nice matte look to it which helps with the reflections on the crystal. In the long run I might have to get a white dial also.

You might have to do it before the Aegir arrives, he might try to violate them if you don't. :neener:
