Bonetto Cinturini 321 on an CD2
I wanted to pick up a strap that was rubber and would be just as good as a quality as and Iso but not as thick. I was really wanting the SAS but I saw it was 6mm at the lugs and the Iso is 5.5mm. So I passed on it.
So I got this 321 from Holben watch bands and service was great, it got here in 3 days time.
Now for the strap, it actually has a stronger vanilla smell than the Iso but not as strong or sickening as the blue Iso I had. Maybe it will fade some soon. Now I tool some pics of it next to the Iso and I believe it is only 4mm thick at the lugs but one thing I noticed is the buckle holes are actually farther away from the wrist like some of the Iso knock-offs out there. So with a 7 1/4 wrist I am at the last slot. That means if your wrist is smaller than mine then don't buy this strap.
The spring bar holes are just a little tight on the CD2 bars but I just slowly twisted them it and they threaded right in. The other thing you will notice is the claps on this isn't as wide as the one on the Iso, I am fine with that honestly since it doesn't feel flimsy at all.
Now this strap doesn't beat out the Iso at all quality wise but it is on par with the Iso. The only thing you would have to change to make them equal is the buckle.
At $25 it is a steal.

I can't believe you don't like Isofrane. That is all I use once it warms up.

Go stand in a corner Terry! Put the Isofrane back on and quit messing around.

I don't understand why you bother with rubber... get a few Natos/Zulus...
Kidding aside, I had only one Bonetto cinturini and I really liked the construction, material and quality of it. The Isofrane is also great but really thick. I hate the vanilla smell though so never wore either one of them.
I think it's a great choice for a good quality and affordable rubber strap. If it had been me I might had chosen a different model/design, however if you like it that's really all that counts.

I ream out the holes with a diamond tool. It is gentle, and eliminates the screw bars working lose. The Isofrane it came on was done this way also.

Honestly at 24mm there isn't a ton of choices for good rubber straps.carlodwc wrote:I think it's a great choice for a good quality and affordable rubber strap. If it had been me I might had chosen a different model/design, however if you like it that's really all that counts.

Terry...put the rubber strap in a Ziploc with an unscented dryer sheet. That will help eliminate some of the vanilla.

Hey Terry, I did not realize that the lugs are 24mm, for some reason I was thinking they were 22mm. I guess you are right, not many choices...toxicavenger wrote:Honestly at 24mm there isn't a ton of choices for good rubber straps.carlodwc wrote:I think it's a great choice for a good quality and affordable rubber strap. There are plenty of great 24mm rubber straps. The best is the Isofrane. Maybe you can find one of those.

I use the BC 321 as the rubber strap for my CH6 bronze. IMO, it's one of the most comfortable rubber straps you can wear and being longer than an Isofrane, it's great for big wrists. I'm thinking about getting a green 321 from this place: https://www.watchgecko.com/media/catalo ... g_6734.png
BTW, I just noticed that this same vendor also has the Bonetto Cinturini nato strap, but only in 20mm.

No, it's not Tourettes.

Actually, if it were 22 I'd still have my Ægir and be wearing it on a Maratac nato strap.carlodwc wrote:Hey Terry, I did not realize that the lugs are 24mm, for some reason I was thinking they were 22mm.
