CD-2 and Micah Quarry (24/22)

Post by matt.wu » Mon Jun 10, 2013 11:49 am

On the topic of re-acquisitions, the CD-2 came home recently as well. Even cooler, is this is the actual one I had purchased from Todd a year and a half ago. Actually liking it even more this time around than the first, if it's possible.

Straps can sometimes be a challenge with the short lugs of the CD-2, but many strapmakers can thin the ends of their straps to fit the watch. I've had Micah thin a couple for the CD-2 (a French Canvas and a Quarry), and both look fantastic on the watch. Barry asked for additional photos of the strap, so I decided to take some updated pics.

So Barry bought an Aegir?

No, just asked for photo 's as it looked like it was tapered in the original picture. The Quarry is a nice combo for the Aegir and I like the tapered strap.

Thanks for posting Matt.

Barry

Cool, Matt. :fro:
I'd love to try one of these, but am really waiting for the CD-1. Really impressed by everything Todd has achieved thus far, and everything planned to come. Have yet to see the CD-2 not look good in pics.
