Hey Todd, I've got the payment for a CD-1 burning a hole in my pocket, will you hurry up already An Iso and a leather strap works just fine, or maybe mesh?t20569cald wrote:patstarrx wrote:I can understand that.. have about a dual deployant clasp for the rubber straps ??t20569cald wrote:The reason I never offered them in the first place, is there is German, and then there is "German" .CGSshorty wrote:You should see the problems Korsbek is having dealing with Fricker about bracelets. Todd - can Fricker cases support a bracelet ??
Fricker does not make bracelets, but sources them instead.
I went to a Swiss firm, that I will use when Aegir has the money, but min order is 300 pcs, and these things are not cheap!
As I do not yet have the marketing that can sell even a third of that, then it would be a bad move, so for the foreseeable future, it will be rubber and leather.
Actually, I have some samples. Swiss ones, and being put on leather now to see, then the diver deployment on rubber.
I already know they are fine to buy, but again, 300 min order, and they are not cheap!

Can't wait till these come out Todd and boost the profile yet again.
I could not be happier with the CD2 it's a great watch.

Re: LE and the CD-1
thought I'd revive this thread and see where you are with the CD-1 and a possible ETA. I am really itching for an Aegir now and not sure if I want to wait for the 1 or go for the 2

Re: LE and the CD-1
I can answer this better later in the week when I give an LE update, but as my next lot of A10 movements will not be until September, it will certainly not be before then. Plan was end of the year, if all goes ok.Jeep99dad wrote:thought I'd revive this thread and see where you are with the CD-1 and a possible ETA. Thank you Todd. Can you still make CD-2's or are they all gone?

No, I still have quite a few, and there is 15 un-assembled as well.Jeep99dad wrote:Thank you Todd. Can you still make CD-2's or are they all gone?
But as I plan to announce here in the coming days, and in my update, these will be the last CD-2 watches built, and the model will be no more.

I will make a dedicated thread to it in the next two days, after my update goes out tomorrow.
It was always going to be the way, but in short, I want it to be something special that was the start, with the Thomas Prescher prototype, the very few watches, and the LE, which by the way is not far from being ready.
