CD-2 + Micah French Canvas

Post by matt.wu » Sun Mar 11, 2012 8:36 pm

It took Micah three tries, but he stood behind his product, and eventually we made it work.

Well worth it.

(For those interested, you will need to have Micah make the lug area canvas only - no leather backing. It's the only way to squeeze it into the tight lug space on the CD-2)

I do agree with you Mat that screw hole lug placement is very limiting for straps I had to shave my rubber straps with a razor to squeeze them in.

Great combo. Anyone tried curved spring bars with the CD-2?

Nope.

Matt, I'm glad to see that you and Micah stayed the course, because the end result is perfect. As for the CD-2, damn, what a special watch. I'm glad to see that you're still rocking it with pride.

Adam

CD-2 is the new benchmark for this kind of watch. Like the SEAL used to be before the case was getting whored out and Kobold sucked.

+1000

Couldn't be happier with my purchase. It's a supra sing watch in some many ways.

Wow. :excited:

I'm salivating at the thought of the CD-1 becoming reality sooner rather than later (as per Todd's recent posts), while in the meantime, the CD-2 is proving more-and-more difficult to dismiss.

Agree with everything said in this thread.
