This is my issue as well. The Bremont website says that minimum wrist size for the regular length is 18.5 cm which converts to 7.28 inches.

I think Carl will make smaller ones.

My opinion of velcro straps changed drastically after Jamie's little "Aquagraph incident".

What? I missed that.

It failed on a dive or something like that? How so?

Do tell. Why no love for velcro?

I never had, but want to try, just trying to make some sense to this.

Interesting, food for thought.

So, velcro can get ripped apart in waves. Hmmm.

Nato/zulu is still the winner I guess.

Both mate.

LE will ship on Metta Catharina leather with either a rubber or Nato in the box.
If I decide to buy these, then the buyer will have a choice of which.

The standard was going to ship on leather, but they are taking too long to make for the launch (he is busy with all sorts)
So looks like it will ship on rubber with a Nato in the box.
Not certain yet how to do it, have to see what I have when the watches arrive. There are 10 leathers made so far and to get 25 more in time wont happen.

I remember that, but I would be more likely to dive rubber, and wear this one for general beach and play type activities.
I do remember when I was diving scuba years ago, that quite a few guys did dive Velcro straps though.

Remember that Jamie has pretty large wrists so there was probably very little velcro holding his watch to his wrist.

Hey maybe in a colored style like Bremont rather than just black? Give it that little extra for those who wants variety. Good job Todd.

Gav

I have two other colors here, Tan and Green.
Tan looks good, but they are of different styles without the leather parts which by the way makes this strap as good as it is.
Gives it a very rigid feel at the watch.
So sure, there would be other colors in this style if I go ahead. Which I will, but they will come later I would think.
The decision to ship the standard watches with one strap was decided yesterday, after deciding to start with Isofrane straps.
Later, when I either have my own integrated rubber or am using a most cost effective rubber option, the Nato will make its way into the box as an extra. It was an 11th hour thing I looked at anyway and was never planned from the start.
It will see inclusion into the LE box as well as the Isofrane strap.

Todd, the LE will ship with the leather and the Isofrane? That would be ideal, IMO.

Yes, Metta Catharina leather, Isofrane and most likely the GasGasBones Nato.

Wow silverback thats a bit harsh.

I have to say I do have huge wrists and I have the utmost respect for Carl's products. The Bremont strap only has an inch of overlap where the velcro folds over when I where it and thats ok at the gym but I should never have been wearing it in surf that size. As an example of how I feel about Carl's work I have a new BadgerBones strap from Carl in the mail.
