New Strap Quick & Dirties
I'm playing Barbies again today. Hot off the mail truck...
Zergun 'Riva' :
Zergun 'Dark Brown Hornback w/ copper stitching' :
* At 130x80, it has a hint of a tail.
** I really like this Zergun Titanium, screw-in buckle.

Re: New Strap Quick & Dirties
Yeah that buckle bounces around and tends to get mounted on new straps, until I decide on the right one for them. It is an expensive Strap Culture monstrosity, if I remember correctly. I'm not too crazy about it either. (For $50 I will have it delivered to your door. )
As for Zergun, I've stared at that copper thread one for many a night, so I threw caution to the wind. So far, it seems like standard/good Hong Kong fare. The prices were great though. The brown one plus tubes and titanium, screw-in buckle was $76. While the Riva (w/ tubes, but no buckle) was "free"+$5 shipping. It is a Christmas promotion.

I love hornback straps. Great choice.

Re: New Strap Quick & Dirties
Thanks for the comments.
Alright, well now I know. After an afternoon of wear, the verdict is that there is really nothing too special about either of these straps. They both have a bit of a 'plastic' feel to them. I still like the titanium buckle however. And the hornback gives me another cool looking beater that I don't mind wearing in any situation. They claim it to be water resistant. We'll see ...

So what you really mean by this is that you will dare wear the strap whilst washing your hands. More "craniotes" and less "suddha".vbuskirk wrote: They claim it to be water resistant. We'll see ...

Sorry to hear that, but hope you get some use out of them despite that.
