Panerai has added four new 1940s Radiomir models with green dials. I prefer 'base' models so if I needed another PAM (which I don't) my pick would be the PAM00995 - 45mm, in-house P.4000 caliber, $11,200. There's also a humongo 48mm black ceramic model, the PAM00997, for $13,300.

Re: New green dial 1940s Radiomirs
I wonder what this does to the PAM 911 price wise, totally different models but same green dial. I agree, the 995 looks good, maybe a good alternative to the 911.

That's a good question. As you point out, they're very different models so I'm not sure the 995 would really have an impact on 911 prices. And the 911 is 'special' in the sense that it's an LE and the "'Last one for Paneristi' so would presumably have pretty decent value retention (if there is such a thing any longer in the Panerai world). Personally, I really like the 1940s case and already have a couple of Luminors so I'd probably choose the 995 over the 911.

Panerai is one of the few brands to jump on the green bandwagon and make it their own. These look cool, and I think you could buy one and not look back a couple years from now and think "what was I thinking with THAT".

Doesn't work for me. The faux lumi and green color clash
