Anybody know the weights of 187, 194/285, 202/225?

Post by YOHOHO » Tue Oct 12, 2010 12:31 pm

I've been searching all over the place, but have not seen the weight listed for the 187, 194/285, 202/225. Paneristi search engine is not my friend...alas.

Basically, I'm leaning 187...but I'd consider the the Ti's if they don't come in too light.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have not found any sources that give the weights or thicknesses for that matter.

I am lucky to have been given the annual catalogs from 2003 to 2010 and none of them have weight. (though I think the models you listed are all Special Editions are in separate catalogs. I just checked Panerai source which is a good reference site and they do not have it either.

Best bet is to e-mail some paneristi that post either of those models on the wrist threads. They might not have the exact weight but could help answer questions.

Good Luck

PS: I think Luke has a 202 and might be able to help.

Thanks so much for the information! I appreciate the confirmation that the info isn't readily available. I thought I may have just been a lazy searcher since this seems like useful info that would be out there.

I'll definitely be more proactive with the paneristi site and owners of the pieces. Reading posts seems to just get me... "this is really heavy"..haha

I'm looking for heavy... was just curious if the Ti had some heft, too. I've actually handled the 187, 194, and 225, but at separate occasions so my frame of reference is a bit off...

I think the TI's are the perfect weight and surprisingly have a good balance to them.
