ok pics to follow, so far so good very nice finish seems to be losing about 2-3sec per day so good there. Very comfy on the wrist and wears smaller IMO than 44mm would suggest. Lume is very good. The only down side so far is the leather strap, thin and doesn't feel like very high grade leather. I'm comparing it to my Ennebi straps and the Pam one is really underwhelming

The dial is very nice as well, and the four line dial balances the look out for me.

Yeah, OEM straps are awful. When I received my 372, I literally opened the box screwdriver in hand and removed what was attached with a Kostas.

The OEM straps seem to vary a lot. I didn't like either of the ones that came with my 372 either, but I just bought the one pictured below and it's really nice. I have an OEM strap for my 190 that I really like too.

Funny anecdote. The saleswoman at my AD made a big deal about the 'Made in Italy' quality of the strap. I flipped it over to take a look at the underside and it was clearly stamped 'Made in Austria'. She was pretty  The leather may be Italian but who knows...

Oddly, and I've always known I'm in the minority on this, the PAM OEM straps are amongst my favorite leather straps. Tapered in both width and thickness, the right length for my preference, and super super comfortable. The JV and Assolutamente in particular are go-tos for me.

I didn't used to be a fan of the tapering but it is nice on a watch with 26mm lugs as the strap feels less bulky around the wrist.

26/24 is the perfect taper. 26/22 looks odd.

Ok guys so this Panerai bug has bitten me, I've contracted the same guy that built my 6152 homage with the Hamilton 912, make me a Pam 372 homage with a Zenith, hand wind movement 230, essentially a Zenith version of a 6497 (chronometer grade, nicely decorated, with a display back. I'll post pics as soon as he sends me some. Obviously not a PAM but his work is excellent and the movement is very nice
