Just when you thought Panerai couldn't stoop any lower - II
Just when you thought Panerai couldn't stoop any lower - II
Love it, just turn the movement and dial upside down and call it a limited edition. Yes! #want #need
Wonder if the caseback is now domed?

More high level management from the richemont team.

And to top it all off, it might be based on a franken. Even if it isn't, it's a joke.

Art, please turn in your user name at the nearest DWC service kiosk
This is a reproduction of the earliest Panerai from the 1930s, the 3646 Type A.
Here's an original:
It's not a franken and they didn't screw the rear bezel onto the front by mistake and think "sh*t, how did we not think of this one before?"

I actually like the fake tropical dial.
Re: Just when you thought Panerai couldn't stoop any lower -
it doesn't matter what it's reproduction of, it looks like shit it's funny as long as you can find it in some archives that the monstrosity was made before then it's all good

Both of those are horrible, but I like the dials.logan2z wrote:Art, please turn in your user name at the nearest DWC service kiosk

It will sell and that's what matters to Panerai.
It was basically a sales model to showcase the movement. As the bezels back then were screw in. They just added the back to the front also to advertise the brand name
Can't recall if limited, but if it is (or not). They will sell all of them.
I'm not looking for anymore. 2 is enough

I like it Not massively, but it's not bad. The dial is a bit pony though.

Black dials are so much nicer.
