If you could only have one PAM.....which

Post by DrWapenshaw » Sun Jul 19, 2015 7:11 am

So I am starting to seriously look at adding a PAM to my accumulation of watches. I am looking for the PAM that is classic and timeless and that hopefully my son will enjoy wearing one day. Does that ring one in mind for you?
Please share which ONE PAM you would buy if you could buy any one and only one?

Thanks for any input.
Was that wrong? Should I not have done that?

The PAM275 since I don't need a ceramic piece anymore.

Depending on budget, either a 000 or a 233 for me.

Personally if I could get one I would go for the PAM372.

I would choose one no larger than 45mm.

To wear in rotation I'd stick with a comfortable 44mm Luminor case
In no particular order, recent models with a crown guard on the 3 o'clock side:
Logo Base Painted Dial: 000
Logo Marina Painted Dial: 005
Base SS Sandwich Dial: 112/560
Marina SS Sandwich Dial: 111/510
Base Ti Sandwich Dial: 176/562
Marina Ti Sandwich Dial: 177/564

I would happily wear every one of those.

Other than the 000 I don't know what any of them look like without pictures.

I vote for this one. And since you're giving it to "me" and not your "son" I think you should just buy this one.

...I'm flying in tonight btw, so I easily can pick it up tomorrow :-)

Half look like the 000, the other half look like the submersible model.

The DLC 390 has been it for me. Thinking of selling for something vintage. Image
