Re: Soliciting Opinions: 176 vs 562
The only major cosmetic difference is the dial color - I probably wouldn't have noticed the subtle difference in the style of the numerals if the watches weren't side by side. If you like the look of the tobacco dial then I'd say go for the 562 for the in house 8 day movement. If you are game for stainless steel and the Unitas movement then the 000 at the reduced MSRP of $4500 is pretty appealing.

Thanks Andrew I'm just looking at these 2 base Ti models

I like the black dial.

I like by. Whichever is cheaper is the one I'd get.

Id go with the much cheaper 176. Don't the need the in-house cal. You've got that covered. and other awesome Pam as it is.
I do prefer the tobacco dial but that's a lot of money for that. Maybe the prior model, 116?

Love the new models but not when considering the price premium over very similar watches (cosmetically).
Re: Soliciting Opinions: 176 vs 562
In-house makes a massive difference to me. Zero reason I'd spend 176 money on a 176 when the 562 is available.
Re: Soliciting Opinions: 176 vs 562
Plus, long PR is easily becoming one of my favorite complications.
Re: Soliciting Opinions: 176 vs 562
I love and want the 562, but the price would lead me to a 176.
Edit: going by Watchrecon pricing for brand new, the 562 is a no brainer.

Yup, even used I didn't see a dramatic difference.CGSshorty wrote: Edit: going by Watchrecon pricing for brand new, the 562 is a no brainer.

If the difference isn't huge it's a total no brainer.logan2z wrote:Yup, even used I didn't see a dramatic difference.CGSshorty wrote: Edit: going by Watchrecon pricing for brand new, the 562 is a no brainer.

It's about 500$, so they're in the "same" price category to me.
I guess it makes sense to get a new 8-day in-house.
Anyone knows if it's comparable to the 372/422 movement besides being 8 vs 3 days

I asked about the looks if the price difference was significant then it wouldn't be a fair comparisonJeep99dad wrote:Wow only $500 now. Then why even ask??Panerai7 wrote:It's about 500$, so they're in the "same" price category to me.

Andrew - great link, thanks
Re: Soliciting Opinions: 176 vs 562
Whoa $500 is it. Haven't priced em since the release. Why even consider anything but a 562
Re: Soliciting Opinions: 176 vs 562
562 every day and twice on Sundays. Love tobacco dials anyway, but the in-house movement, 8 day power reserve, and barely signifcant price difference make it a no brainer IMO.

love the tobacco dial & love the 8 day PR so I vote for 562
+/- $500 - as been said before, no brainer.
