A Panerai in a 40mm case would be a buy for me.

44 is where it's at for me.
Just make 305 and 372/422 in 44 and you got me + a million buyers.

Agreed. 44mm is perfect for me, and I can easily wear 47mm.Panerai7 wrote:44 is where it's at for me.

I would love a 40-42 MM version of the 233...provided it looked right proportionately..
Re: Article: Panerai Reduces Case Size, Broadens Feature Opt
i love that micro rotor movement....very cool....this was all news to me, i was unaware of this.
Re: Article: Panerai Reduces Case Size, Broadens Feature Opt
lets see. the only thing panerai has not tried is to make a smaller watch more expensive than a bigger watch. And the way they are going to do it - is to call the watches special editions or limited editions.
but I am sure it is coming, and the panerai fan bois will eat it up.

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had
But this watch is never wrong

I've owned and loved a 000 and a 024 but honestly would love to see more options in 40mm with , As Mike stated, the right proportions

I've yet to see that. They have all looked a little off to me.rockmastermike wrote:I've owned and loved a 000 and a 024 but honestly would love to see more options in 40mm with , As Mike stated, the right proportions
Re: Article: Panerai Reduces Case Size, Broadens Feature Opt
I agree totally, the proportions are the key here. Overall size does not matter since one can have a large or small wrist, but the overall look and how the lugs, dial, hands, etc. work together is important and in fact key to achieve an aesthetic result.rockmastermike wrote:I've owned and loved a 000 and a 024 but honestly would love to see more options in 40mm with , As Mike stated, the right proportions
Then again, the perception of proportions and size are also very much a personal taste thing...

The 48 / 50 black dial is 40 or they have it in white 49 / 51. The 48 was my first.BBK357 wrote:A Panerai in a 40mm case would be a buy for me.
Re: Article: Panerai Reduces Case Size, Broadens Feature Opt
I tend to have more leeway on the case height when proportions match the case diameter well. The 512 and the 372 are at either end of size spectrum but both hit their proportions very well so they are comfortable to me.

I like that one - if I were to get a PAM it would probably be the one.jimyritz wrote:-----------------JP Chestnut wrote:I've yet to see that.
