Don't own one yet, but I have the itch, big time. Thought I preferred sandwich dials, but the more I check them out, the less legible they seem at low angles. I like the Luminors best, for sure.

This one. PAM292. Ceramic case. Sandwich dial. Wire lugs. It oozes understated cool.

I'm sure there are people here who are better for this than I am, but basically Panerai cuts the dials and puts the Lume underneath. It gives the dial a 3d look.
